Boeing has a successful track record of working in Russia for more than 30 years. The Boeing Company has had a partnership relationship with Russia since the era of the former Soviet Union. In the 1970s, Boeing was a part of the historic U.S.–Soviet space mission, Apollo-Soyuz, when spacecraft from both countries docked in orbit. Since 1992, Boeing has worked closely with the Russian aerospace industry. Boeing also works with leading Russian and Ukrainian aerospace companies on two ambitious space programs — International Space Station and Sea Launch, the world's most reliable heavy-lift commercial launch service.
